Blood Donor Update
Blood Donor Update
Despite being fit, healthy I've never been allowed to donate blood in Ireland but from 7th October 2019 things change.
Thousands of previous UK residents were not allowed to donate blood in Ireland due to the fear of blood contamination from foods in the 80s and 90s. On Monday 7th October the ban will be lifted and hopefully thousands of Irish residents will offer to donate for the first time in over a decade.

This question will no longer be a reason not to give blood.
