We're delighted to see the Coláiste Na Mí Christmas Tree light up the school entrance. A fantastic use of upcycled materials.
N1 and N2 Bus Stops Completed.
Meath County Council announce that 53 new wheelchair-accessible bus stops and refurbishment work to 13 existing bus stops within the town has also been completed.

Local PCR Test Centre Opens
Navan Rugby Club has opened for pre-booked PCR appointments, this may be a 'pop up' clinic and temporary.

Village Decorations
Old Johnstown Village Community Group make the village festive.
Free Drive Through Winter Lighting
The lighting display hosted at the Ardboyne Hotel proved to be so popular that many reportedly queued for 2 hours. Ultimately causing traffic issues many resorted to visiting on foot.
Be Seen At Nights
To encourage cyclists to be seen during these dark evenings Navan Cycling Initiative distribute free bicycle lights and other goodies 4pm today at the Navan Christmas Tree.
New Trees
Meath County Council distributed hundreds of tree saplings to local Community Groups. Johnstown Tidy Towns were amongst them and intend to plant up to 50 new trees in Johnstown over the coming days.

How many of us defrost the car windscreen with a kettle of hot water, chemical spray, ice scraper or even worse do you leave the car running unattended hoping the heater will work fast?

If your child or a child you know wants to give rugby a try he/she is welcome to Navan RFC.
Rugby is a game for everyone, Navan RFC is a club for everyone.
If you’re unsure and have questions just reach out to us, we may look scary on a rugby pitch but we’re lovely people off it!
