Killarney Robot Racing

Date: June 11

Location: Killarney Race Track, Cape Town, Western Cape

Killarney’s robot racing meets allow members of the public to square up at the lights and battle it out over the quarter mile. These events are all about making motorsport accessible, so any road legal vehicle can compete: whether it be a Mark 1 Golf or a McLaren supercar. Gates open at 5PM and entrance is R100 for adults, with no extra charge to race. With more than 200 participants expected, spectators can look forward to hours of drag racing action. 


Renzo & Mano's Birthday Bash

Date: 15 June

Location: The Rock Raceway, Brakpan, Gauteng

Renzo and Mano’s birthday bash promises to be a spinning extravaganza like no other. Hosted by the Global Female Movement and Team Saluki, the line-up is nothing short of mind-boggling and includes Samsam, Veejaro, Muzi, Katra, Austin, Panjaro and of course, the guests of honour, Renzo and Mano themselves. Gates open at 11am, so make sure you get there early for a full day of tyre smoking, adrenaline pumping action.


Gas Motorshow

Date: 14-15 June

Gas Motorshow is South Africa’s ultimate celebration of automotive culture, adrenaline and entertainment! Hosted by the event masters at Gas Magazine and taking place at the iconic Suncoast Casino on the Durban beachfront, this one-of-a-kind event brings together rare vehicles, stunt shows, freestyle motocross, stance displays and more.


Beast of the East Festival

Date: 5 July

Location: Kwa Magesh Spin City, Witpoort Estates, Brakpan, Gauteng

Spinning, stance and music come together in the one-of-a-kind Beast of the East Festival, hosted at Kwa Magesh Spincity on the Johannesburg East Rand. Spectators can look forward to crowd favourites like Mano, Vaatjie and Magesh, while young guns like 13 year-old Adam and Jared in his V8-powered bakkie, are guaranteed to keep spectators on the edge of their seats.
