It was a night of rhythm, style and pure musical magic as internationally acclaimed DJ Oscar Mbo lit up the Heineken House stage at Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday.

Oscar Mbo, real name Mbongeni Ndlovu, is no stranger to the decks and on this star-studded night reminded everyone why he's one of South Africa’s most beloved house music maestros. With an arsenal of hits like Yes God, Groovy Since 90 Sumthin, Vuka, and many more, he delivered a performance that had the crowd dancing, singing and shouting for more.

“I'm over the moon, this is super incredible and it's just out of this world,” Oscar told TshisaLIVE, visibly in awe of the sea of fans that turned out to see him spin. “I'm focusing on music and my clothing brand with new ranges that will drop this coming summer, he added, hinting at a stylish season ahead.

But Oscar wasn’t the only one setting the vibe — Heineken House brought out a line-up that read like a who's who of South African music royalty. Fans were treated to sensational sets and performances by Sir LSG and DJ Soul Diva bringing soulful deep house to life, 2woBunnies hyping the crowd with high-energy bangers, Focalistic delivering his signature “Amapiano to the world” energy, Scotts Maphuma grooving with jazzy, feel-good beats, and Daliwonga, Nkosazana Daughter, Blxckie, K.O, Emtee and Kwesta all bringing their A-game to the stage, From smooth grooves to explosive hip-hop and everything in between, the event was a melting pot of genres and culture, all wrapped up in that signature Heineken House experience — complete with vibrant lights, bold fashion and an electric atmosphere.

The success of the night also cemented the growing influence of Oscar Mbo, who continues to build his empire one beat and one thread at a time — with his much-loved music and fashion brand both gaining momentum. If this is any preview of what’s to come this summer, fans can expect heatwaves — not just on the weather front, but in sound and style too.
