Actor Abdul Khoza and rapper Chad Da Don are set to engage in a celebrity boxing match.
The highly anticipated bout presented by TLB Boxing Promotions is set to take place at Emperors Palace on July 26.
The two fighters have made bold statements and confident predictions ahead of the fight.
“I'm coming for war brother. Let's put it all on the line,” Chad wrote on Instagram.
He revealed he's no stranger to the sport, saying boxing has been in his family for years with his grandfather having trained some of the greats.
“I come from it. I just never took the sport seriously. I never got into the ring but I've always loved boxing,” he said in an interview on Robert Marawa's show on 947.
“You are going to feel my strength. I have been a fighter my whole life. I'm training overtime. I am a sportsman. I'm not scared of no man, specially Abdul.”
Abdul, who holds a black belt in karate, is aware boxing is a different beast from karate but says he's training to make sure he's fit to win the bout.
“This is different for me. I'm very honoured to be one of the people who are chosen,” he said.
“Boxing is very different from karate. I am definitely going to bring my A-game,” he said.
Chad offered to feature Abdul on a song for free if he wins.
“If you beat me that night, I will give you a feature for free.”
